The fastest way to reach Fretquest is by email. There is no contact form on this site and no account to sign in to.

Email

Write to [email protected] for corrections, questions about a lesson, permission requests, or to report a page that does not display correctly. The address is forwarded to the person who maintains the library, and replies usually take a few days.

To make a correction quick to act on, include the page address, the bar number and the string number. If a diagram and the text disagree, say which one you think is right.

What is useful to send

The most useful reports name a specific fault: a fret number that does not match the sound, a fingering that cannot be played at the stated tempo, a bar whose rhythm does not add up to the time signature, a link that leads nowhere.

Requests for a particular scale, tuning or technique are also read, and they are one of the sources for new entries. Requests are not promises: the library grows on a fixed schedule and the order is planned in advance.

Advertising and business enquiries

Advertising on this site is served by Google AdSense, so there is no direct ad sales channel to write to. Content licensing, translation and other business enquiries can use the same email address with a clear subject line.

Privacy requests, including requests under the GDPR or the CCPA, are handled at the same address; the privacy policy describes what can and cannot be identified from a site with no accounts.
